Our experience has shown that up to 50% of full service contracts are primarily profit for the original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) and large third party independent service organizations (ISO's). The result is that many purchasers opt out of purchasing service contracts and rely on contract engineers for immediate problems when they occur.
Although this saves money initially, without routine PM's to identify and resolve issues early, equipment tends to be at risk for larger problems later. Without a contract in place, valuable equipment may be inoperative or placed on limited use if independent engineers are unavailable or exceedingly costly for single visits and high part costs.

We still offer full service contracts (with or without tube (glass) coverage) but we recommend, and most choose the PM+ program.
ASE is currently in development with a large brokerage firm for an industry changing program. Clients will have full coverage and disbursement for coming in under annual budgets. This is a reinsurance model with tax benefits and other incentives that benefit customers directly.
